We are announcing today that residential registration is now closed (but you can still register – read on to see your options)!
We know we know! We’d previously stated that residential registration would close on Friday 13th April, however it’s now rather a moot point, since we have completely exhausted our available rooms, including those in the overflow. No further room block expansions are coming. As such, we’ve taken the decision to simply be honest about the fact that residential registration is -essentially- closed (and this is now reflected in our registration system).
One aspect we did mention in our announcement on dates previously, is that the 13th April would also be the last date you can make changes. You can still do so, by emailing email@example.com (the cut off for this will still be the 13th April, 1900 UK time). You can do things like add early arrival / late departure. Or, you can transfer your registration. Note however that certain changes (such as outright cancellations), are no longer an option.
The closure of residential registration also means no further sponsor registrations or upgrades are available. However, some of the goodies may be available to purchase at the convention store in the dealers den at the convention (subject to availability)!
So, what are your choices now if you’ve not yet registered? Well, you can still register attending-only, or for day tickets until 1900 UK time on Friday 4th May! As a reminder, if you’d like a day ticket; please register for attending only, put in the comments which day(s) you’d like, then immediately contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll update your payment requirement and registration details.
Still looking for a place to stay? ConFuzzled’s location near Birmingham airport and the NEC, mean that there are plenty of hotels in the local area! Fire up Google, or your preferred hotel booking site, and have a search around!
tl:dr version: We’re out of rooms, but attending-only & day ticket registration STILL OPEN until 4th May. Plenty of hotels in the local area if you’d like to book a room yourself.
