Crowne Plaza

After what has been an unprecedented demand on registration for 2018, we are delighted to once again announce that we have teamed up with Crowne Plaza Hotel, NEC, to offer an official overflow venue.

The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, and is just a brief 8 minute walk door to door. With Resorts World next door, access is readily available to all the same local amenities and travel hubs, making the hotel the ideal choice to serve as our overflow.

We will work closely with the Crowne Plaza to increase our room allocation based on demand. Please be advised that space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis

All bedroom types are non smoking and include the following amenities as standard:

Bedrooms

The Crowne Plaza hosts a range of bedrooms in differing configuration. Room layouts may therefore vary slightly from the images below, but will all come with the standard amenities as billed.

All nights include breakfast the following morning, and parking at no extra cost.

 

A stylish guest room complete with modern amenities including Wi-Fi and flat panel TV, it is comprised of a double bed intended for single occupancy. An ideal, generously-sized room for someone looking for a space to themselves.

Standard Double

A stylish guest room complete with modern amenities including Wi-Fi and flat panel TV, it is comprised of a queen size double bed and sofa. The room is ideal for 2 people looking to share and cuddle up at night.

Sleeps two persons in a queen double bed

 

Standard Twin

A stylish guest room complete with modern amenities including Wi-Fi and flat panel TV, it is comprised of 2x single beds. The room is ideal for 2 people looking to share who require their own beds.

Due to popular demand, standard Twin rooms are sold out. However, the hotel are able to offer a twin configuration based on 1x Double bed, and 1x pull out sofa bed.

Hotel Amenities

On-site facilities available to residents include a fitness centre with sauna, the “Eleven” Bar & Grill, a Starbucks coffee bar, and free Wi-Fi availability throughout the hotel. Please be aware that no discounts have been arranged on the bar and restaurant, and all prices are as advertised.

 

What you need to know…

With the Crowne Plaza being a separate hotel, there are some slight differences with regards to the Terms and Conditions of sale, as well as some additional important pieces of information you need to know, outlined below.

• The ConFuzzled Code of Conduct and Terms of Sale
  In coming to ConFuzzled, whether staying at the Hilton or the Crowne Plaza, the same Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, as well as the conditions of sale

 

• Crowne Plaza Terms and Conditions of Sale
  All attendees are responsible for reading and understanding the Crowne Plaza Terms and Conditions of sale.

 

• Refundable deposit
  Each attendee staying in a room will be responsible for a £50 fully refundable damage deposit upon check-in. You will require either a credit or debit card. Only in the event of a dispute relating to damage to the room and/or Crowne Plaza property will these funds be retained, until such time any issue can be fully resolved between hotel and guest

 

• No half room occupancy
  Regrettably, we have been unable to secure a discounted rate for early arrival and late departure days on Double/Twin bedrooms. Therefore, if one attendee in a room that accommodates two people chooses the early arrival/late departure day, and the room share partner does not, the attendee occupying the room for the early arrival/late departure day(s) by themselves must pay the full room rate that day. We strongly encourage that anyone registering for a room has a room share partner who is also attending the same days.

 

• Door Posters
  No door art or posters may be affixed to bedroom doors during your stay at the Crowne Plaza, without first seeking permission from a member of the hotel team.

 

• Fursuiting
  The Crowne Plaza are aware of the nature of our event and are expecting to see fursuiters. However, please understand that the Crowne Plaza is not our primary venue and, as such, the majority of other guests in the hotel will not be associated with our event. We politely ask that you please try to limit your fursuiting within the Crowne Plaza to transitioning to and from bedrooms and, if asked to move on by a member of staff, to please respect their request.
